People often ask, “Can you convert files into PDF without Adobe Acrobat? How do I modify PDF files?”  And usually, there hasn’t been a good answer.

I’ve noticed that you’ll often have a PDF file that you need to modify, only to discover that you can’t change a PDF with the ease that you can a Word or Excel file. You realize that the only way to really do anything to a PDF is to get the full version of Adobe Acrobat. Unfortunately, that costs quite a bit of money. And, to be honest, you usually don’t get all the capabilities or ease of use that you want for that money.

Fortunately, I came across a site recently that really changes the way we do PDFs–for the better. On this site, you can take any file, and quickly convert it into a PDF file that’s incredibly easy to print and modify.

Not only can you turn any file into a PDF, but you can also format the text, insert images, even insert sounds. That’s something Adobe Acrobat just doesn’t let you do. And when dynamic, colorful documents are crucial in just about every facet of business and study, having access to those features are essential.

As PDFs are the most popular as well as the most reliable and recognized international standard for viewing and managing PDF documents in the world, we all want to be able to easily create and print them for easy sharing. Now, opening, creating, writing and printing files into PDF has never been easier.

Membership with this service is lifetime, and the cost is quite practical, even in the tough economic climate.

This is the greatest tool I’ve found in a long time. Now for all of that have wondered, here is a new and simple way to create PDF files, as well as view, print, and modify PDF files. See how to do it here.

Do you think you can do a video including .srt subtitles? I really want this player for Asian Dramas and would like to see how well the subtitles work.

    Thanks!

Safari has a built-in PDF reader, but it's just that – a reader.

Sorry, I don't think there is one. I have this phone, and have tried getting just about every possible type of programs for it, including MS Word lol, but haven't come across a .pdf reader. Ive actually searched this before, and other people say there isn't one available for JM2E (java enabled) phones.

Oh, and the Nokia 6300 WILL read .txt files =)

Remove adobe. Foxit comes up as my default in firefox but I don't have Adobe Reader installed.

Go to Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs. Find your Adobe Reader thing and uninstall it. Open your Program Files folder and delete the folder "Acrobat". Reboot. Connect to the Internet and download the latest Adobe Reader version.

    Hope it helps

I think your phone is S40 based and there arn't any viruses for your phone nor are there any antivirus apps for this reason, if your having probs with the phone then restore it back to factory setting and that should solve the problem. And since your phone is S40 based and supports java apps then as far as i know there arn't any PDF readers that you can download.

You can find the Sony PRS-500 on Ebay (used) for about $125 usually.

The Sony Reader is VERY nice and great for ebooks. Unfortunately, it's also pretty darn expensive.

A cheaper route would be going with the following:

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3224296&Sku=N529-1130

It has a larger screen than most PDAs, half the price of the Sony and also will allow you to download stuff wirelessly from the internet to read.

    Enjoy your ebooks!
