Help answer the question aboutpdf converter
Is there a free pdf converter on the net to download that will keep the quality of images?I would like a quality pdf converter that when something like a Word doc with images is converted it keeps the quality of all the images. I have tried mostly all the free ones online and really, they are crap! Please help, does anyone know of a really GOOD one?

Solid PDF Creator is a free pdf conversion program that will create PDF files from pretty much any windows program.
It works through a printer driver, so once you have it installed, you simply choose the document you want to convert, choose the option to print and then choose Solid PDF Creator as the printer. This will then open up the user interface wher eyou have a chance to tell it where to put your document and what you want to name it, and then hit the create button and the pdf is created for you.

There is a free online converter at http://www.media-convert.com. I've used it and have not noticed any watermark.
Word 2007 allows for the saving of a document to PDF.
Also, if you have a printer/scanner/copier, it may allow you to scan to PDF. Check it out.
